Chicken Korma - Recipe For Chicken Korma A Delicious Indian Dish (1)

Chicken korma is a delicious Indian classic. This chicken korma is served with homemade naan, raita and rice.

I love chicken korma. The creamy and delicious sauce that almonds and Greek yogurt provide is a big hit at home. This is my best chicken korma recipe. In addition to butter chicken, chicken korma or chicken korma is one of my favorites in Indian cuisine. The dish tastes heavenly and it has a nice kick without being too strong.

Chicken korma is a delicious Indian dish known for its rich and creamy taste. This dish usually consists of tender chicken meat cooked in a creamy sauce with spices such as ginger, garlic and coriander. Served with basmati rice and naan, chicken korma makes a tasty and heart-warming meal for the whole family. I love serving the dish to guests!

Korma chicken can easily be served just with rice, potatoes or pasta, but it is extra good if there is also naan (it can also be purchased naan/flatbread) and a delicious cold raita.

Tips for the recipe for chicken korma

The dish is freezer-friendly and can also easily keep for 3-4 days in the fridge in an airtight container. It will lose a little bit of kick after freezing, but it is simply so packed with delicious flavor that it doesn't matter.

You can find my recipe atnaanandraitaher.

When the dish cools down again, do it slowly in a pan.

I use boneless chicken thigh, as it is best suited to the dish - you can, however, replace it with chicken breast, but if you can find boneless chicken thigh, then by all means use it.

Chicken korma or chicken korma can also be made for e.g. beef korma, korma with lamb or vegetarian korma. If you want my recipe for korma made vegetarian, replace the chicken with cauliflower in smaller pieces or e.g. paneer in cubes.

    How to make chicken korma

What can you serve with chicken korma?

Rice – preferably basmati but jasmine can also go is always a sure hit for Indian food. The rice makes the dish milder and you are sure to get plenty of the sauce in one mouthful, because the rice absorbs well. In addition to rice, naan or naan bread is also always a must at our house. I love to dip homemade naan in the spicy sauce. The breads can also be brushed with garlic butter.

Mango chutney is a popular side dish that adds a sweet and spicy flavor contrast to the dish and raita is also always a sure hit. Raita is a cucumber dip - but some also make it with tomato and possibly mint. The cool yogurt dip is perfect for the spicy Indian chicken korma.

Papadum are crispy breads or almost crispbreads, which are most often eaten with dip tips, but they can also add a good crunch to the dish if served as a side dish. They are quite spicy though.

A simple, fresh salad with cucumbers, tomatoes and onions can provide a refreshing contrast to the rich and spicy taste of chicken kroma or a delicious mango salad.
